01 Do I need to send my original steering wheel?

Your original steering wheel stays with you. We make the new one on a new OEM base. You keep driving your car throughout production and retain your original steering wheel for a possible resale.

02 How do I know the steering wheel is compatible?

Select your make, model, generation and the equipment currently on your steering wheel. We manually check the configuration before production. If you have a specific question, send us your model, year and a photo of your steering wheel on WhatsApp.

03 What happens to my airbag and buttons?

You keep your original airbag. Its trim cover can be customised in the configurator. The mechanism stays the one fitted to your vehicle.

For the buttons, you can transfer yours or choose new OEM buttons. Your functions are checked against your configuration.

04 How long does my steering wheel take?

Allow around 4 weeks for leather and Alcantara, and 4 to 6 weeks for carbon and forged carbon, after payment and configuration approval.

After final inspection, it ships within 1 working day. These lead times cover production, with delivery added afterwards.

05 Who can install my steering wheel?

In Belgium, Apex Studio offers at-home installation for €150. You can also entrust the installation to a qualified professional.

Keep the installation invoice for the electronic components warranty.

06 What warranty covers my steering wheel?

Materials, stitching and fittings are covered for 3 years from delivery. Electronic components are covered for 2 years when installation is carried out by Apex Studio or a professional, with an invoice.

The electronics warranty excludes retrofit projects. Contact us so we can review your configuration if your project involves changing generation.
