On an identical chassis base, the fit works in the vast majority of cases. The difference between original compatibility and a retrofit then comes down to the equipment, and it is checked before production.

The retrofit pack
It brings the steering wheel controls and the paddle electronics, all new. That is what makes a generation change simple: you reuse your original airbag, and the rest arrives with the wheel.
A new original base
Every wheel is built on a new OEM base, in the material you choose. You keep your original wheel and your car stays on the road while yours is being made.
Your buttons, your choice
You transfer your original buttons onto the new wheel, or you order new OEM buttons delivered with your order. Every original function is kept.
The check before production
We check your configuration by hand before production starts, and we confirm an order once the fit adds up.

01Will a steering wheel from another generation fit my car?
In the vast majority of cases, yes, as long as the chassis base is the same.
The check covers the controls, the paddles, the connectors and the centre module. We do it by hand before production.
02Do I need the retrofit pack?
You need it for a generation change, because it brings the steering wheel controls and the paddle electronics.
On your own generation, your original controls transfer straight onto the new wheel.
03What happens to my airbag in a retrofit?
You keep your original airbag. Its cosmetic cover can be ordered as an option from the configurator.

04Do I keep all my functions?
Yes. Audio, phone and cruise control are all kept.
The buttons are either transferred from your original wheel, or delivered new as OEM parts with your order.
05Is my car off the road while the wheel is made?
You drive with your original wheel until delivery.
Fitting happens once the wheel is with you, or through our at-home installation service in Belgium.
06How long does a retrofit take?
Allow around 4 weeks in leather and Alcantara, 4 to 6 weeks in carbon and forged carbon.
Once finished, the final check and shipping take 1 working day.
