It all started with a TT RS.
I drive a 2019 Audi TT RS 8S. Before the exhaust and the wheels, the steering wheel was my first modification.
Nothing changed from the outside. Once seated, the difference was immediate.
A used car keeps the habits of its former owner. The steering wheel is the most direct way to truly make it your own. I was looking for a workshop that could do it with the right level of care. I could not find one.
So I created Apex Studio in Belgium at the beginning of 2026.
What we check before we start.
Compatibility is checked by hand
Make, model, year, generation, paddles and steering-wheel controls. If anything is unclear, we contact you before production starts.
We start with a new manufacturer base
Your original steering wheel stays with you. You keep driving during production and can refit it when you sell the car.
Final inspection, then insured shipping
Every steering wheel is inspected before packing. Its shipment is insured for its full value, at no extra cost, whatever the destination.

Every material photographed in the studio, every finish reproduced exactly. The Alcantara that drinks in the light, the forged carbon with its pattern unique to each piece.
You build at your own pace. You try, you go back, you show it around. The price follows every adjustment, so you decide with all the cards in hand.
On delivery day, you open the box on a steering wheel you already know by heart.

The care for detail.
If a stitch is not exactly right, the steering wheel goes back into production. You will see and touch it every day for years.
Transparency.
A stated timeframe should be a kept timeframe. If a supplier is delayed, we tell you before you need to ask.
The right retrofit.
Some generations are not designed to fit together. We check the installation and only accept an order when the combination is coherent.
Safety in its rightful place.
We offer the airbag's cosmetic cover only. The safety module remains a manufacturer part.
