The shape of the base, its compatibility and the equipment to be retained determine the starting point of the project. Your current steering wheel remains in your car during manufacturing - this is not a standard exchange.
Before comparing two projects, start by selecting the correct model in the configurator. An Audi configuration, for example, is not necessarily based on the same basis as another vehicle in the catalog.
The materials change the budget and the character of the steering wheel
Leather and Alcantara provide neither the same touch nor the same visual presence. They can be used alone or combined depending on the grip areas. Carbon further changes the construction and the final result: it can therefore increase the budget, but also the manufacturing time, which generally goes from four weeks to four to six weeks.

Finishes determine the level of customization
A contrasting seam, a central marker, a perforated finish or inserts modify the reading of the steering wheel without necessarily transforming the entire project. It is often these details that turn a sober configuration into a very personal steering wheel. The right balance depends less on the number of options and more on how they fit with your seats, trim and dashboard.
You can also choose the rendering of the areas you look at most: the upper part, the side handles and the spokes. By defining a main subject then a few accents, you maintain a clear direction while controlling customization.
Controls and on-board equipment also count
The original functions, such as audio, telephone or regulator, are retained. Depending on the project, your existing buttons may be transferred or new OEM orders may be planned. The compatibility check is done with the generation, year, photos and equipment of your vehicle.
